Bemis Humidifier Review
A Bemis humidifier is a useful appliance which is not only practical and high in quality, but can be purchased with a reasonable price. The attractive package offered by Bemis results in a high demand from consumers and this brand becomes more popular over time. The humidifier from Bemis is very powerful because it can treat the whole house and more importantly, it doesn’t require daily maintenance.
However, to ensure that the humidifier is operating at its maximum capacity, it should be cleaned once every fortnight. Cleaning this humidifier is very easy and if a user follows a step by step instruction, the job of cleaning can be completed in a matter of minutes. The first thing to do is to turn off the plug of the humidifier from the wall. Then, take out the bottle containing water from the humidifier, not forgetting the pack of power as well.
Then, take out the wick, rod and float assembly away from the cabinet. Check if there is any excessive water and if there is, let it to flow into the reservoir. The rod assembly of the Bemis humidifier should be removed from the wick. Use a sponge to clean up any water that spills outside the reservoir, and add in a gallon of water which has been premixed with a cup of ordinary vinegar. Gently, scrub the interior side using a smooth brush, and if needed drop some pure vinegar on tough stains to remove them effectively.
It is important to rinse thoroughly all the vinegar from the reservoir, and to do this flush sufficient water through it. After that, the reservoir should be refilled with another gallon of water (preferably warm) and make sure the water is premixed with a teaspoon of bleach.
After a while, pour out the mixture of bleach from the reservoir of the Bemis humidifier. Rinse a few times with clean water to completely remove the residue of bleach. Then, pour out all the content of the water bottle and replace it with a pint of water. Add in a couple of teaspoons of bleach into the water, put on the cap of the water bottle and mix the bleach with water by shaking the bottle a few times.
After shaking it well enough, reopen the cap and pour down the content of the bottle into the sink. Carefully, rinse the interior side of the water bottle with warm water until there is no residue of bleach. Finally, use a dry and clean piece of cloth to wipe dry the power pack. This is important because the component could not be used if it is wet.
